New Covid-19 Arrangements
We would like to reassure you that Herman & Wilkinson salerooms will remain open, and that our auctions will continue online going forward, with limited viewing and Pre-Arranged collection. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves.
Limited Viewings: For our weekly auctions, viewings will be limited to 10 people at a timed for a maximum of 20 minutes each. To arrange a viewing for the auction please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Where possible we would ask that you use the facility to view the auction online.
Auction Bidding: For our weekly auctions we will conduct them online using our Timed Auction Platform. A fully illustrated catalogue will be available at 3:00pm every Wednesday, and bidding will commence at that point. Commencing Thursday at 12:00 noon bidding will close at 1 minute intervals per lot, to allow you manage your bids across multiple lots.
Notes on Timed Auction Bidding:
– if a lot receives a bid within the last 10 min. it will remain open for an additional 10 min.
– If any further bidding occurs, the extension timer will reset to 10 min.
– If no further bidding activity occurs, the lot closes when the timer runs out.
Pre-arranged Collection: If you are successful with an item(s) you will receive an online invoice with a breakdown of you successful lots, this includes a link to allow you to pay your invoice online. After payment you arrange a collection time online, by booking a window for you to collect your lots. Please note all lots must be collected by 5:30pm Friday.
We invite you to use www.hermanwilkinson.ie to access sale catalogues, bid online, have an object valued through our online consignment hub or to get in touch with an auctioneer – they can respond to you personally by email or phone.

We can offer you a full 32 county, delivery service for parcels up to 30kg in cubic or dead weight for just €9.00 plus VAT per parcel. This price includes the collection of the goods by the local courier in your area along with full track & trace and online proof of delivery.
Should you have any small items, we also offer an A3 sized satchel service at cost of €6 plus VAT for full nationwide delivery.
For UK deliveries we operate at 48-hour service at a cost of €20.00 plus VAT per parcel up to 20kg. This also includes full online track & trace with proof of delivery.
NOTE: Although we make ever effort to pack items safely, we CANNOT take any responsibility for the conditions of items upon arrival, when you use our shipping method you must acknowledge this. If you want a full service carrier please email MBE Dublin on email@example.com
General Arrangement Before Covid-19

Viewing: Wednesday 2-6:30pm
The Herman & Wilkinson weekly auction features entire house contents being sold in individual and group lots, including sitting room, dining room and bedroom furnishings, mirrors, works of art, ornaments, collectables, garden tools, anything that you are likely to find in a house clearance. Approximately 2,000 items in approximately 600 – 800 lots are sold at the Thursday Auction.
Because of the importance of getting exactly what you want and having a good idea of what you should expect to pay for it, we strongly recommend that you take the time to view the goods on Wednesday 2-6:30pm. We can provide you with an estimate of what any item is likely to realise at the auction, and in the event that you cannot attend the auction next morning, you can leave a proxy bid with us and we will bid on your behalf.
Having secured the items, you wish to buy at auction, you may collect your purchases on Thursday afternoon after the auction or by Friday morning at the latest. If required, we can arrange delivery at your expense.
