'Clearing Houses - Finding Antiques'

The Herman & Wilkinson weekly auction features entire house contents being sold in individual lots, including sitting room, dining room and bedroom furnishings, mirrors, pictures, ornaments, collectables, garden tools, anything that you are likely to find in a house clearance.

Some 2,000 items in approximately 600 lots are sold at the Thursday Auction.

Because of the importance of getting exactly what you want and having a good idea of what you should expect to pay for it, we strongly recommend that you take the time to view the goods on Wednesday afternoon. We can provide you with an estimate of what any item is likely to realise at the auction, and in the event that you cannot attend the auction next morning, you can leave a proxy bid with us and we will bid on your behalf.

Having secured the items you wish to buy at auction, you may collect your purchases on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. If required, we can arrange delivery.
